We loved this hotel, it’s location on the edge of the old part of Sorrento is perfect. The views are stunning, both from the buffet breakfast balcony and also from the roof terrace, with Vesuvius in the background. We booked an economy double room which was compact but super-clean and had everything we needed, including a nice en suite. We didn’t have a balcony but didn’t really need it, instead we spent time by the beautiful pool and also on the roof terrace where the evening sunsets are stunning. The breakfast buffet was a feast of everything you can think of, hot and cold and included delicious local cakes and pastries. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening, we were the only diners and were waited upon with such care and attention. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The staff at Hotel Regina make it extra special. The people at Reception were super-knowledgeable with lots of hints and tips that helped us find our way around. Most of the male staff at the hotel, in many roles, are called Antonino which we found quite charming. Thank you everyone at Hotel Regina for making us feel so welcome.

Everything. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. The room was perfect. Robes, open wardrobe space toiletries, towels, small safe, kettle, slippers, and fridge (with coca cola, water and beer - charges apply) were provided in the room. Our room 207, on the corner with 2 balconies overlooking the pool area and the other overlooking the sea. Breakfast was just delicious. There was a choice of juices, cereals, toast, scrambled egg, mushrooms (I think bacon and other things too), good strong coffee, lots of vegetables and fabulous cakes. Roof top terrace bar is very good (open 5.30 till 11.30 I believe). Enjoy a nice cocktail while enjoying the view. Sometimes there's entertainment on too. The pool area is small but nice, and they provide towels to you for the pool area, which includes toilets and a small bar. The hotel sorted our airport transport for 4 people for €190 which took away the stress of getting from Naples to Sorrento with loads of luggage. We also booked a transfer from here to our next hotel in Amalfi cost €220. Loved it here. I would definitely return and recommend it to others.

The best thing of all about the hotel is its location, right by the sea and within a few metres of the pedestrianised centre of historic Sorrento, and centuries old stone steps down to the Marina Grande, a beautiful fishing village. The rooms are great and very clean, including the public spaces. We loved the rooftop bar, from which you get an amazing view of the sea, Sorrento and the sunsets. Also the patio with pool, where you can lie out on loungers or sit on comfortable seats and read or chat. The staff were charming. The breakfast was a mix of traditional British and Italian. I loved the Italian hot options like aubergine with peppers and slices of onion tart. Plus fruit. And cakes! We would definitely recommend.

Honestly we absolutely loved everything about this hotel, the food incredible even at the pool bar. The staff all amazing so kind and helpful, we stayed here during our wedding and the hotel was just impeccable. We booked another hotel one of the grand ones and it doesnt compare to the regina... Hotel Regina is 20/10 and we cant wait to come back already. I can't Even rate the hotel enough. The photos doesn't do this place any justice honestly if i could say in all the 10 hotels we've stayed at this year sp far this one exceeded our expectations. The roof terrace is amazing 😍 the breakfast views honestly one of the best. Room 305 balcony view unreal 😍😍😍

This is an excellent location: near both the port area and the touristy shopping lanes. We found three excellent restaurants within 5 minutes walk and the station is an easy 15 minute walk with luggage. The views of Vesuvius across the bay are wonderful, especially from the breakfast terrace and roof top bar. The swimming pool area is good for cooling off and you can relax in its adjacent bar area shaded by lemon trees. Staff are friendly and helpful. A great place to stay.
